Investigating - Over the past few weeks, there have been single incidents for Game Shields routed over the Dataforest infrastructure. An incident each consisted of player disconnects, mainly due to big attacks targeting that Game Shield infrastructure part.
We have been working to try and reduce this from our end, as well as working with them. While improvements have been made, the issue persists and has surfaced in a larger scope today.
Thus, we are accordingly again communicating the priority of this issue to them and are actively looking for alternate options to migrate to in the meantime, with the background of CIS player routing to be optimal/DPI/traffic shaping unaffected for users in nations with censoring ISP networks.
An ETR is yet unknown but we will update tomorrow.
**Any normal / default GameShield Infrastructure is unaffected entirely.**

Our engineering team will deploy voice proxy deployment automation, which comes with a fully new voice proxy platform.
This maintenance will not cause any interruption or service degradation. However, working with/on core components can increase the likelihood of an outage.
This will allow Game Shield customers to autonomously create Voice Chat proxies as of the Neo plan and also delete them.
In the coming weeks, we will conveniently contact all customers running old Voice Proxies and arrange migration of those with each customer through tickets. There is no urgency to switch, however the goal is to have every customer migrated until end of January.
